Harry Earl Fluke, aged 27 son of Harry B. Fluke, passenger conductor on the Morrisons Cove Branch railroad, was instantly killed when the airplane on which he was a passenger crashed near Lakemont.

A Democratic rally was held at Martinsburg on Saturday. Postmaster J.H. Kensinger presided and a number of speakers from Altoona appeared on the program.
