Despite the recent rainfall, the Department of Environmental Protection drought warning for 24 Pennsylvania counties and drought watch for 43 counties issued in mid-September are still in effect.

Keith and Donnette Fisher’s farm triumphed in not one but both of the nation’s two top dairy shows, winning the Grand Champion Milking Shorthorn honors at the World Dairy Expo in Madison, Wisc. and the All-American Dairy Show in Harrisburg.
