Three big plays led Southern Huntingdon to an 18-7 win over visiting Claysburg-Kimmel on Sept. 25 in Inter-County Conference action.
The Rockets moved to 3-0, while the Bulldogs dropped to 1-2.
Quarterback Nate Myers ran 63 yards to give Southern Huntingdon a 6-0 lead with 11:08 remaining in the first quarter. Myers ran 12 times for 105 yards in the game.
C-K’s Joseph Noah followed with a 61-yard scoring run. Wyatt Buell’s PAT gave the Bulldogs a 7-6 lead with 7:16 left in the first quarter. Noah finished the game with 109 rushing yards on eight carries.
