The Central High School boys’ soccer team fell in its first four games of the 2020 campaign.
Central traveled to Fannett-Metal on Sept. 11 and was handed a 4-1 setback. Bradon Kensinger scored the Dragons’ lone goal, which came in the second half. Kensinger’s goal was unassisted.
The following day, Sept. 12, Central hosted Northern Bedford and fell by the score of 4-2. (See story in Northern Bedford’s roundup.)
A hat trick by Luke Trexler was not enough as Central dropped a 4-3 decision against visiting Huntingdon on Sept. 14.
Huntingdon led 2-0 before Trexler scored an unassisted goal which was followed by another goal with Zeb Wyant credited with the assist. Trexler gave Cental a 3-2 lead in the second half, with an assist credited to Jaden Myers. Huntingdon closed out the game with consecutive goals.
Central hosted Bellefonte on Sept. 16 and fell, 7-2. The visitors tallied six first-half goals en route to the victory. Scoring unassisted goals for the Dragons were Ashton Campbell and Bradon Kensinger.
