Things didn't start well for WHS. Juniata Valley blocked a punt on the Blue Pirates' first possession for a safety. Juniata Valley had a 2-0 lead just 1:09 into the game.
Clark scored his first touchdown in the second quarter, finding the end zone on a 4-yard run with just 34 seconds remaining in the first half. Lambert Palmer ran in the 2-point conversion to make it 8-2.
