Today, we look to Google and Kindle Unlimited for recommendations on books rather than the concentrating on the importance of our local public library.

For almost 29 years, a librarian held the respect of her community. This lady, Louise Speck, was there for those in our community as an ear to listen and an eye for a great book. To me, however, she is quite simply my grandmother, whom I affectionately call "Bubba."
