LINDA K. (EDWARDS) LONG

Linda K. (Edwards) Long, 62, of Roaring Spring, unexpectedly went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2020, after a brief illness.

She was born May 23, 1958, in Williamsburg, the daughter of the late John and Betty (Biddle) Edwards. She married Leroy A. Long on Oct. 30, 1982.

She is survived by her husband; a son, Jacob Alan Long and wife Meghan of Pensacola, Fla .; three grandchildren: Cullen, Charlotte and Ian; a sister, Kathie McGeary of Altoona; and a brother, Eugene Edwards of Altoona.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Randy Edwards.

Linda was a member of Dry Run Independent Baptist Church, Duncansville. She was a 1976 graduate of Williamsburg High School and she also graduated from Clarion University in 1978 with her RN degree.

She was currently employed as an RN supervisor at the Presbyterian Village, Hollidaysburg.

She enjoyed crafting, and she especially loved taking her special trips to see her grandchildren in Florida.

A funeral was held Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2020, at the Dry Run Independent Baptist Church, Duncansville. Pastor John Leatherman officiated.

Interment was made in Dry Run Cemetery.
