EDWARD B. 'SKIP' NOFFSKER

Hollidaysburg

Edward B. “Skip” Noffsker, 92, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Sunday morning, Aug. 16, 2020.

He was born July 22, 1928, in Roaring Spring, the son of the late Edward Noffsker Sr. and Leota (Burkett) Noffsker. Seventy-three years ago on May 7, 1947, he married Alma Louise Clapper in Winchester, Va.

He is survived by his wife; three children: Linda Noffsker Grace and husband Herbert Grace Jr. of Hollidaysburg, Robert “Bob” Noffsker of Duncansville and Wayne Noffsker and special friend Joyce Whetstine of East Freedom; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Beverly Noffsker Wyland, and a sister, Donna LaRue Burket.

Edward retired as an electrician from the Juniata Shops in 1990 with more than 40 years of service.

He loved working in his garden as well as camping, hunting, fishing and doing woodwork.

Given the current limitations due to COVID-19, there will be no visitation and services will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Edward’s memory may be given to Grane Hospice, 115 Union Ave., Altoona, PA 16602.
