DORIS J. DIBERT

Resident at The Village at Morrisons Cove

Doris J. Dibert, 90, a resident at The Village at Morrisons Cove, Martinsburg, formerly of McKee, passed away on Tuesday evening, July 7, 2020, at the home.

She was born on June 11, 1930, in Brooks Mills, the daughter of the late James and Jeanette Brown. She married James W. Dibert on March 26, 1952. He preceded her in death on Nov. 7, 1997.

She is survive by six children: Wanda Leonard of Duncansville; twin sons, Jim Dibert of Altoona and Jan Dibert and wife Patty of Duncansville; Bev Dibert of Claysburg; Mike Dibert and wife Lois of East Freedom; and Penny Dibert of Saxton; and three grandchildren who were raised in the home: Jeff Dibert and wife Dawn of Claysburg, Mike Dibert and wife Brandi of Woodbury and Mandy Dibert of East Freedom; 17 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.

Doris retired from the Allegheny Lutheran Home Dietary Department in 1994 after 25 years of service.

She enjoyed crossword and word search puzzles.

A funeral was held on Friday, July 10, at the Todd T. Thompson Funeral Home Inc., http://www.thompsonfh.com, Roaring Spring. Bishop Steve Brumbaugh officiated.

Inurnment was made in Riverview Cemetery.
