Memorial Park Crowns 2020 Little Miss Winners at Second Pageant

Morrisons Cove Memorial Park held its second annual Little Miss Morrisons Cove Pageant on Monday, June 29. There were three competitions: Pre-School (ages 3-5), Junior Miss (kindergarten and grades 1 and 2) and Miss (grades 3, 4 and 5).

Chairs were set up with social distancing guidelines. Family members were asked to only attend at the times of their scheduled competition.

The pageant room was decorated with beautiful white lights aligning the ceiling and the lights were dimmed. Roots in the Cove from Roaring Spring donated the flowers for the room and the contestants. Fisher's Party Central of Martinsburg donated beautiful pink balloons.

Nicki Harris oversaw the pageants. Ken Locher was the master of ceremonies. The judges were Melinda Greene, Elizabeth McCloskey and Beth Hoover, all of Altoona.

Winners in the Preschool Division were Mikaela Brown, Tiny Miss Spring Cove, daughter of Mickey and Christine Brown; Candace Heuston, first runner-up, daughter of Brian and Crystal Heuston; and Ella Gartman, second runner-up, daughter of Terra and Jon Gartman.

Junior Miss Spring Cove winners were Olivia Morris, Junior Miss Spring Cove, daughter of Officer Lance Morris of the Roaring Spring Police Department and Lindsay Morris; Gracelyn DeCriscio, first runner-up, daughter of Breanna DeCriscio; and Jona Gartman, second runner-up, daughter of Terra and Jon Gartman.

Little Miss Spring Cove winners were Arianna Denay Ritchey, Little Miss Spring Cove, daughter of Chantell and Justin Gallagher and Jonathan Ritchey and Rachel Ritchey, runner-up, daughter of Andrew and Monique Ritchey.
