Roaring Spring to Make Main Street Two-Way Again

Roaring Spring Borough Council has approved a plan to make East Main Street a two-way street again, according to Borough Manager Lisa Peel.

Peel said that borough council approved a plan at its regular meeting this month on June 8, to restore two-way traffic to the street, which has long been restricted to one way due to a structurally unsound retaining wall on the east side of the street.

Peel said that plans are for authority crews to update the water line in the area. Then, a street-line painting company will come in and paint lines to create two lanes of traffic. The current roadway lines...
