Corporal Denver K. Ake of Martinsburg, left his air base at Kearney, Neb., for a destination unknown early this week. He has been taking advanced training on a B-29, one of the Super Fortress bombers at several camps for some time.
Pvt. Joe K. Smith, who has been with the engineers overseas but more recently in a prison camp, is enroute home after being liberated, according to a letter written to his parents dated May 27.
