JAMES E. SMITH

James E. Smith, 69, of Duncansville, formerly of Reading, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on Wednesday afternoon, May 27, 2020, at home.

He was born on Nov. 13, 1950, in Altoona, the son of the late William and Betty (Hite) Smith.

He is survived by two children: Wesley A. Smith of Martinsburg and Kelly S. Smith of Duncansville; two grandchildren: Megan and Ben; and three siblings: Butch Smith (Pat) of Missouri, Paul Smith (Tony) of Michigan and Bill Smith (Susan) of Roaring Spring.

He was preceded in death by an infant son, Jimmy, and a sister, Shirley.
