SWT Discusses New Golden Rule Bridge

The Board of Supervisors of South Woodbury Township met on Monday, June 1, at the township building

Jeffrey Wos from Keller Engineer was at the meeting to discuss the possibility of funding for a new bridge on Golden Rule Road. There is no funding available at this time and will not be next year. The suggestion was given to reapply for funding in the fall 2021. Otherwise, the township can do this themselves but will not get help with the funding. The supervisors agreed to discuss this further and decide which type of bridge they want, aluminum or concrete. This will be discussed later; also the supervisors will decide how much money the township can afford for this project.

It was discussed and decided that volunteers who worked on the planning committee and recycling will be given a monetary award.

Supervisors will meet at 9 a.m. Tuesday, July 7, at the township building.
