Election Day Is Tuesday, June 2

Election Day is Tuesday, June 2, 2020.

Many precautions have been taken to keep the poll workers and public safe from the COVID-19 virus. Voters are encouraged to bring their own blue or black ball point pen. Hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes will be available at the polling locations, and all voters are requested to wear a mask. Poll workers will also wear masks and be seated behind plastic shields as they help voters on Tuesday.

Due to the expanded use of absentee and mail-in ballots, some in-person voting procedures have changed: the poll workers will first verify that you are not on the list of those voters who requested absentee or mail-in ballots. If you already returned your absentee or mail-in ballot you will not be permitted to vote in person. If you requested a mail-in or absentee ballot, but it has not been received by the elections office, you will be permitted to cast a provisional ballot. This may increase the amount of time it takes to vote in person.

Voters are encouraged to return their ballots to the Courthouse as soon as possible. Ballots can be turned in at the Blair County Courthouse in Hollidaysburg on Election Day from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on June 2. Voters should follow the directional signs to the Union Street side of the courthouse to turn in their ballots.
