The treatment and pumping contractor for one of the Williamsburg Municipal Authority’s projects was temporarily shut down because of Gov. Wolf’s coronavirus restriction orders.
Stiffler-McGraw engineer John Clabaugh told authority members that he expects the contractor to request a time extension, but there was no request at the time of the meeting via phone conference on Tuesday evening, May 5.
The following pay estimates were granted during the meeting: Contract 2019-1 to SE Construction in the amount of $118, 844; Contract No. 2 with Bettwy Construction in the amount of $222,777 and Contract No. 5 with C&R Directional Boring in the amount of $475,769.
Authority Member Daryl Cole made a motion to approve the payments to the respective contractors. Authority Member Harry Mullins seconded and the motion passed.
Authority Member Mullins made a motion to accept the minutes from the March meeting with Member Cole seconding and motion passed. Member David Myers made a motion to accept the treasurer’s report, give approval for the bills to be paid and for the ratification of the bills and intervening payroll. With Member Mullins seconding, the motion passed.
