Project Contractor Expected to Request Extension of Time

The treatment and pumping contractor for one of the Williamsburg Municipal Authority’s projects was temporarily shut down because of Gov. Wolf’s coronavirus restriction orders.

Stiffler-McGraw engineer John Clabaugh told authority members that he expects the contractor to request a time extension, but there was no request at the time of the meeting via phone conference on Tuesday evening, May 5.

The following pay estimates were granted during the meeting: Contract 2019-1 to SE Construction in the amount of $118, 844; Contract No. 2 with Bettwy Construction in the amount of $222,777 and Contrac...
