Greenfield Township could face $95,000 in revenue loss due to COVID-19, according to preliminary calculations by Arlene Kuntz, township secretary-treasurer. The financial figures for the March through June 2020 timeframe were presented at the board of supervisors’ May 6 meeting.
Revenue reduction is expected from real estate taxes, earned income taxes and other taxes, reduced state aid for pension and fire, fewer land development projects and building permits, and fewer rentals at township facilities, among other income streams.
