Due to the uncertain economic times, the Claysburg Education Foundation has decided to purchase iPads for each of the 60 graduating seniors at Claysburg-Kimmel High School at a total cost of $9,000.
Each year the Claysburg-Kimmel School District gives graduating seniors the option to purchase their iPads for their post-graduation use for $150 each.
“With all the economic uncertainty and financial instability currently out there, the foundation has decided that we want to help you by purchasing your iPads for you and for your classmates,” Rich Allison, foundation board member, said in a letter to the graduates.
“You may use your iPad however you see fit.,” Allison said.
