The Central boys’ track and field team hosted Tyrone and Lewistown on April 20 and finished the day with a split.
The Dragons defeated the Panthers 79-71 but fell to the Eagles 87-63.
The Central Lady Dragons had their best week of the softball season, winning three of their four Mountain Conference contests while raising their record to 6-5 on the year.
The Central Dragon baseball team split its two Mountain Conference games last week, giving it a record of 8-4 on the season. The Dragons lost at home to Central Mountain, then rebounded to defeat Bellefonte on the road.
Northern Bedford stayed undefeated in girls’ track and field with a 110.5-38.5 victory over Everett at home on April 20.
The sixth annual Charlie Klotz Basketball Tournament was held Saturday, April 24, at Garver Memorial YMCA, Roaring Spring. Three teams competed in the 60-and-over, 4-on-4 double elimination tournament.
