Norman Andrew "Pappy Norm" Calhoun, 80, of Williamsburg, passed away on Wednesday evening, April 15, 2020, at Hollidaysburg Veterans Home.
He was born on Nov. 20, 1939, in Philipsburg, son of the late Norman Andrew Calhoun and Mila Gallagher.
On April 7, 1962, he married Judith A. Lang at Zion Lutheran Church, Williamsburg.
Surviving are his beloved wife of 58 years; a son, Scott A. Calhoun (Dr. Katherine Brown) of La Mesa, Calif .; two daughters: Lauren (John) Sinclair of Bellefonte and Kristen (Brian) England of Williamsburg; five grandchildren: Scott A. Calhoun II, Alyssa and Emily Sinclair and Isaac and Bryce England; and a great-grandson, Caden Calhoun.
Norman was a 1957 graduate of Williamsburg High School and a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, Williamsburg. He served in the US Air Force from 1958 to 1962, attaining the rank of Airman 2nd Class.
He loved spending time with his grandchildren and walking Rails to Trails with his two beloved dogs, Jennie and more recently, Annie. Norman truly enjoyed and cherished his retirement years.
A private celebration of life service will be held at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions in memory of Norman can be given to Williamsburg Volunteer Fire Company, Williamsburg Public Library or Mending Hearts Animal Rescue.
