TheMr. Aand Mrs. Harvey K. Dimond, Salemville, have five reasons to be rather proud, albeit they likewise have five reasons to be somewhat worried at times.
They have three sons and two sons-in-law in the service of their country, and all are overseas.
The coming weeks will be busy ones for the students of the upper grades particularly. What with preparing for examinations and getting ready for the various commencement season events, there will be plenty to do.
Ten young men and ten young women will be graduated at the borough school this spring. Four of the young men will not be present for ceremonies for they are in the services of their country.
Rev. and Mrs. Norman J. Simmons and family will leave the Methodist parsonage on N. Market St., Martinsburg on Thursday morning of next week for their new home at Mifflinville.
Members of the Mt. Pleasant Reformed church were especially favored Sunday when Wineland’s Meat Market quintet sang several vocal selections.
