Most Cove Food Pantries Adjust Rules to Stay Open

The Martinsburg Food Pantry is alive and doing well.

According to Linda Smith, manager, the shelves at the food pantry are well stocked, thanks to sizable donations from the community.

"With more people at home and the kids home from school, there are more people in need," Smith said.

Food pantry families are usually able to choose food products from labeled boxes. Boxes would be marked with how many of each item were allowed per visit. There would sometimes be a wait to use one of the four shopping carts to collect their goods, but the system worked.
