Coronavirus Affects the 'Burg

Grab your hand sanitizer, grab your toilet paper – no, it’s not a snowstorm, it’s COVID-19 and it is affecting even our small town of Williamsburg.

Here are some of the upcoming event cancellations:

• Williamsburg Women’s Civic Club meeting for Monday, March 23 is canceled.

• St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Joseph’s Church Annual Fish Dinner is tentatively rescheduled for April 17.

• The Williamsburg Senior Center and exercise classes at the community center are canceled until further notice.

• Story Hour at the Williamsburg Public Library is canceled until further notice.
