S. Woodbury Recognizes Secretary/Treasurer

South Woodbury Township supervisors recognized Genevieve Zebroski, full-time secretary and treasurer for the township, during the March 3 meeting.

Zebroski has served full time with the township since 2004. A plaque and a thank you were given to Zebroski for her service. She will step down at this time to one day a week. Rachel White will assume this position.

Officials of the Southern Cove Fire Department were present to review their financial report with the supervisors.

The roadmaster reported potholes were fixed on Golden Rule Road.

A bridge inspection application for county aid was submitted for a bridge on Pine Hall Road and Mill Street.

David Martin's service shop plans were reviewed and will need to make adjustments and followed up at the next meeting, scheduled for Tuesday, April 7.

Ervin Zimmerman's poultry operation plan was reviewed and will be followed up.

The PA Rural Water Annual Conference will be held March 24-27. There will be 70 classes for attendees to choose from.

A quote was given for the township's pole building and will be followed up at a later date due to pricing.

Mikayla Carbaugh will be added to the township's planning commission.

Wastewater aging accounts receivable were reviewed. There were 15 inspections, 176 letters, 163 on lots, 13 holding tanks and six non compliances from last year. New letters will be sent to the solicitor for two accounts.

Judith Ott, census recruiting assistant, presented information to the board on workers needed to complete the 2020 Census. Information packets were distributed and Ott gave the website as 2020census.gov/jobs to apply for a position. Persons may also call (855) 562-2020.
