Douglas A. Imler, 62, of Martinsburg, passed away on Monday morning, Feb. 24, 2020, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.
Friends will be received from 2 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 29, 2020, at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., http://www.bolgerfuneralhome.com, Martinsburg, where a memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. Pastor Jim Neatrour will officiate.
Private inurnment will be held at Holsinger Cemetery, rural Roaring Spring.
Douglas was born on Feb. 16, 1958, in Bedford, son of the late Sandra J. Imler. Douglas was raised by the late John A. and Betty Irene “Gram” (Seymour) Imler.
Surviving are a sister, Stacey S. Imler; two brothers: Mark A. (Vicki) of Stuarts Draft, Va., and Brian L. “Boob” (Vickie) of Roaring Spring.
Doug was a 1978 graduate of Central High School, Martinsburg, and attended Waterside Church of the Brethren. Over the years he worked as an EMT, a school bus driver and was also employed at Your Building Center in Bedford.
He was a member of Roaring Spring Lions Club, Chestnut Ridge Ambulance Club, Imler Area Volunteer Fire Company and also volunteered for Boy Scouts of America.
Doug enjoyed bowling, hunting and fishing.
