Local Champions

The Spring Cove third grade elementary boys' basketball team won the Indiana 3rd Grade Invitational Basketball Tournament held on Saturday, Feb. 1, at Indiana Area High School.

Spring Cove defeated Armstrong, Blairsville and host Indiana to be the only undefeated team on the day.

Team members all attend Martinsburg Elementary School in the Spring Cove School District.

Spring Cove will next be in action in a six-team tournament on Saturday, March 7, at Morrisons Cove Memorial Park. Teams from Bedford, Williamsburg, Bellwood-Antis, Hollidaysburg and Cambria Heights will compete in a double-elimination, single-day tournament.
