The Claysburg-Kimmel wrestling team earned its first win in 11 dual meets on Jan. 30, knocking off visiting United 27-12.
The match featured only five bouts that were wrestled. There were seven double forfeits and one forfeit won each by the Bulldogs and United.
C-K’s Levi Brown and Hunter Knisely earned pins at 145 and 126 pounds, respectively. Cole Claycomb won by technical fall at 132, while Cade Keithley earned a major decision at 138.
United earned a fall at 152 pounds and a forfeit at 250.
There were no matches at 170, 182, 195, 285, 106, 113 and 120 pounds.
The Bulldogs’ record in 11 dual meets was 1-10 prior to its match at Central on Tuesday, Feb. 4. Information will appear in the Feb. 13 issue.
