C-K Boys End Losing Skid with 2 Victories

The Claysburg-Kimmel High School boys’ basketball team earned a 65-49 victory over visiting Mount Union on Jan. 29.

The Bulldogs had a 45-37 lead entering the final quarter, where they outscored the visitors 20-12. The win ended a five-game losing streak.

Kyle Glass poured in 25 points to lead C-K. Parker Dibert added three 3-pointers and finished with 17 points. Wyatt Buell scored nine points, all from 3-point land.

C-K 70, Mo Valley 58 (OT)

Behind 31 points from Kyle Glass, C-K managed a 70-58 overtime victory at Moshannon Valley on Jan. 31.

Glass added two 3-pointers for the Bulldogs, who received 17 points from Parker Dibert (three 3-pointers). Wyatt Buell added eight points for C-K.

The back-to-back victories pushed the Bulldogs’ overall record to 8-10.
