Dorothy Louise McCall of Martinsburg passed away at home in California on Thursday, Jan. 23. 2020, at the age of 85, after succumbing to cancer.

A service will be held on Sunday, Feb. 9, 2020, at Foothill Bible Church in Calimesa, Calif..

Private burial will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2020, at Veterans National cemetery in Riverside, Calif.

Dorothy was born on Jan. 20, 1935, daughter of the late Lester and Naomi Longenecker.

She is survived by the love of her life, Kenneth McCall; son Ron McCall (Pam) of Yucaipa Calif.; son Perry McCall (Shirley) of Manhattan, Kan., grandson Bennett McCall (Coral) of Monterey Park Calif.; Gavin McCall of Yucaipa; and Darren McCall of Manhattan, Kan.

Also surviving are eight siblings: Ruth Morgan (John) of Williamsburg, Marlin Longenecker of Cross Lanes, W.Va., Mildred Keagy (Wilfred) of La Vern Calif., LaDonna Biddle (Ed) of Williamsburg, Max Longenecker (Gay) of Williamsburg, Dale Longenecker (Anita) of Williamsburg, Emily Grannas (Sam) of Hollidaysburg and Harry Longenecker (Peggy) of Martinsburg.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her sister Martha McIntyre and brother Harold Longenecker.

Dorothy was a devoted teacher for 17 years to the students and parents of Yucaipa Elementary School in Yucaipa, Calif. Dorothy was a dedicated volunteer, she devoted many hours to various organizations.

Dorothy was loved by so many and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
