NB Music Dept. Plans Winter Concert

The Northern Bedford County Music Department will present a winter concert to the public at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 9, at the Northern Bedford High School auditorium, Loysburg.

The Middle School Chorus and the Senior High Concert Band will be the featured groups. The Middle School Chorus will perform a variety of selections including “Joy in My Heart” by Rollo A. Dilworth, “Tongo” arranged by Grep Gilpin and “Down By the Riverside” arranged by Rollo A. Dilworth.

The Senior High Band will perform “Yorkshire Ballad” by James Barnes, “Semiramde” by Gioacchino Rossini, arranged by Jim Mahaffeyy and “Just a Closer Walk with Thee” arranged by Johnnie Vinson.

The Middle School Chorus and the Senior High Band will perform “My America” arranged by Joyce Eilers Bacak as a grand finale to the program.

There will be a small admission charge to the concert.
