Directors at Claysburg-Kimmel hired two new teachers during their official meeting Jan. 8.
Named to the staff at C-K High School was Amanda Woodring at a starting salary of $52,900. Woodring, who will teach secondary English, replaces Emily Carper, whose resignation was accepted during the Dec. 4 meeting.
Emily Haupt was hired to teach second grade at C-K Elementary School with a starting salary of $42,000. Haupt replaces Madalyn Johnson, whose resignation was accepted during the January meeting.
