Pirates Race Past C-K Bulldogs

The Williamsburg High School boys' basketball team earned its first victory Dec. 9, defeating Claysburg-Kimmel in Inter-County Conference action, 69-41.

Williamsburg jumped out to a 19-7 lead after one quarter and pushed it to 36-19 at the break.

Adam Uplinger hit two 3-pointers and scored 13 points to pace Williamsburg. Shane Brantner added 11 points in the victory.

Lambert Palmer hauled down 14 rebounds and collected six steals in the victory.

Claysburg-Kimmel's Kyle Glass poured in a game-high 19 points, grabbed six rebounds and had three steals.

Williamsburg shot 15-for-28 from the foul line, while Claysburg-Kimmel was 4-4.
