Putting cows on the front page since 1885.
The Herald is reminding readers that it now publishes an online version and has launched a sister publication, the Hollidaysburg Herald.
The online version of the Morrisons Cove Herald is free to all those who purchase print subscriptions.
Those who live outside the Cove community and who have experienced mail delays may now switch to an online-only subscription.
The full content of the Herald is uploaded every Thursday around noon so online-only subscribers will not experience mail delays.
Both Herald websites are designed to be viewed on computer screens, tablets and smartphone screens (mobile devices).

The Hollidaysburg Herald
Morrisons Cove Publisher Allan J. Bassler has announced the launch of a new online news website serving the Hollidaysburg-Duncansville area.
The Hollidaysburg Herald is online only and does not offer a print edition at this time. The site can be found at http://www.hollidaysburgherald.com.
Subscriptions to the Hollidaysburg Herald are $19.99 a year. To subscribe, go to hollidaysburgherald.com and click on the “Subscribe” tab at the top.
Bassler said that the news website carries the slogan “Reliable news for Hollidaysburg” and fills a need.
“I lived in Hollidaysburg for several years and graduated from Hollidaysburg Area High School,” Bassler said. “So I know that the Hollidaysburg area has always wanted its own news source. Now it has one, and a reliable one.”
Bassler said that the site will be a central hub for news about Hollidaysburg area events, people and businesses.
“We encourage all those in the Hollidaysburg and Duncansville areas to send their news to [email protected],” Bassler said. “It’s the community’s news source. We welcome all news from businesses, clubs and community groups.”
Bassler said that he is also seeking businesses who support community journalism.
“There are multiple opportunities not only for traditional online advertising, but for supporting the site,” Bassler said.
He said that businesses interested in supporting the site and getting a message in front of Hollidaysburg news readers should give him a call at (814) 793-2144.
“We welcome all,” Bassler said. “This is all for the Hollidaysburg area.”
