PennDOT announced on Dec. 12 the approval of 26 rail freight improvement projects that will enhance freight mobility while creating or sustaining more than 390 jobs across Pennsylvania.
Included in the list is the Everett Railroad of Blair County, which was awarded $232,554 to upgrade three miles track to facilitate service to a new cement transload terminal.
