This weekend, I am snatching up my mother’s Kitchen-Aid mixer and baking some Christmas cookies for my family. As an avid baker, I cannot wait.
This week, I chose two classic recipes at our house for Christmas cookies and hopefully, they can become part of your family’s Christmas traditions as well.
Snickerdoodles
Ingredients:
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1-1/2 cups sugar
2 large eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2-3/4 cups flour
1-1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp salt
Cinnamon-sugar mixture
1/4 cup sugar
1-1/2 Tbsp. cinnamon
