The weather man interfered to a certain extent with the bear hunting at the opening of the season last week as the rain on Monday and Tuesday kept some hunters indoor. So as far as the Herald could learn there was not any bears brought to the Cove. Quite a number of sportsmen left for Cameron, Clinton and Potter counties as well as other hunting camps in search of bear, and then the deer season opened and they remained to try their luck at that.
