Lightning was being blamed for a power outage that left Martinsburg-area residents without power for up to 5-1/2 hours late Sunday and early Monday. Power was knocked out at the Martinsburg sub-station at about 11 p.m. Sunday. The vast majority of customers affected were back in service by 4:30 a.m.
