Bomber Visits Airport

Martinsburg over the weekend was visited by one of the big B-17 war bombers, which is said to be next to the largest used by the Americans in the European theatre of war. Battle-scarred, the huge aircraft was fresh from the war zone. That it had seen plenty of action as indicated by the nearly thirty small bombs painted on its side, showing that it was in that many missions over enemy territory.
