Armistice Day A Success

The big celebration of the anniversary of Armistice day, by the people of Morrisons Cove, staged to take place at Roaring Spring, was a great success. Between eight and ten thousand people were present in spite of unfavorable weather conditions.

Residents of the rural district and from every town gathered and the mammoth parades were viewed by thousands, the services of twenty special officers being required to keep the streets open for traffic.
