DIANNE M. STIFFLER

Dianne M. Stiffler, 68, of East Freedom, died Friday morning, Oct. 25, 2019, at Homewood at Martinsburg, following a brief illness of cancer.

A funeral was held Monday, Oct. 28, at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Roaring Spring. The Rev. Amanda McCaffery officiated.

Interment was made in Riverview Cemetery.

Dianne was born Sept. 4, 1951, in Roaring Spring, the daughter of the late Robert C. "Spotty" and Cleva A. (Allison) Weitzel.

She married Gary Stiffler May 10, 1975.

Dianne is survived by her husband; three children: Wade Stiffler and wife Chelsea of East Freedom, Pamela Ayers and husband Mark of Martinsburg and John Stiffler and wife Julie of East Freedom; and six grandchildren: Kirsten Ayers, Madison Ayers, Emma Stiffler, Harper Stiffler, Casen Stiffler and Olivia Stiffler.

She was a 1969 graduate of Central High School, Martinsburg, and also graduated from the Altoona School of Commerce with her associate degree in accounting.

She retired from News Printing Co. in 2017 and had previously been employed at Sky Brother's and Delta Health Systems.

Dianne was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, where she was currently serving as treasurer.

She enjoyed walking, gardening, volunteering at Homewood at Martinsburg, and she especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Dianne's memory may be given to St. Luke's Lutheran Church or the Freedom Township Volunteer Fire Department.
