Putting cows on the front page since 1885.
From College Hill
Herald of Oct. 17, 1919
We have now started on our third week of high school work with an ever increasing interest. Six sewing tables are already completed and will be in use before the readers of the Herald have an opportunity to read this item.
The question of improving the road is now under consideration and we are sure about ten or fifteen teams can be secured by our boys, and after one Saturday’s hauling a good road to the College will be a reality.
We must next think of taking steps to open the road to the south so generously given by Mr. C. M. Black. This road will need drainage and filling. With the aid of our thoughtful and industrious boys much can be accomplished. Six work benches will be placed in the work shop by the end of this week.
We are always glad to find new friends of our cause – the uplift of Morrisons Cove.
The president received the letter inserted in these items from Mr. S.E. Fluke, a former Woodbury boy, who appreciates Morrisons Cove as every resident should.
