Cove Businesses: We Want Your Local News!

Every now and then, I get an invitation to talk to a local civic group or club. I’m always happy to do so. (And if you’d like me to speak to your group, just call 793-2144 and ask.)

At a recent outing, I was chatting with the people at my table and I learned two things. Both of those are things that need to be corrected.

There’s a Herald

First, I learned that not everyone knows that the Morrisons Cove Herald now has a website. We do, and we’d like you to check it out. You can find it at http://www.mcheraldonline.com.

If you are already a subscriber to the Herald’s printed edition, you get free access to the website for the length of your subscription. Just go to the website, click on “Subscribe” in the blue bar at the top of the page and follow the prompts.

(If you’re not a subscriber, you can view a few articles for free, but then the website will ask you to become a subscriber.)

The website offers great opportunities for advertisers, too. We offer great monthly rates. We’ll design your ad or you can send us your own. Your ad can be set up so readers can click on the ad and be taken right to your company’s Facebook page or website. You can also update the ad weekly at no additional charge to promote your specials or sales.

The other information that I found out caused me great concern. A local business owner told me that he thought that the Herald wasn’t interested when his company won an award or
