As the high school football season reaches the midway point this weekend, District 6 Class 1A has a number of teams fighting for a spot in the postseason.
Among those teams are Claysburg-Kimmel (3-1) and Glendale (3-1), who are tied for fourth place in the district ranks with 80 points. They will square off at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20, in an Inter-County Conference showdown at the Dr. Roy F. Baker Athletic Field, home of the Vikings.
