WISE Women of Blair County Announces Funding Opportunity

WISE Women of Blair County, through the Central Pennsylvania Community Foundation, has established a funding opportunity to support efforts to empower women and eliminate racism through collaboration, service and education techniques.

Funding opportunities could include workshops and educational events, training sessions and direct service projects targeted toward empowering women and eliminating racism.

The name of the grant program is “Empowering Women & Eliminating Racism: Grant Application.”

For Empowering Women and Eliminating Racism through Collaboration, Service and Education. WISE Women of Blair County anticipates awarding between three to five projects that serve Blair County residents this award cycle.

All grant funds must be expended between Jan. 1, 2020 and Dec. 31, 2020.

Eligible applicants are any tax-exempt charitable organization under Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code or public charity with a 50 percent deductibility limitation (See IRS.gov).

The grant application due date is 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, 2019.

All organizations submitting a grant application will be notified of their status by early December 2019.

A Grantee Performance Report is due 45 days after the event or no later than Feb. 15, 2021, if the funded program is a year-long event.
