Strengths: "We have added a lot of new players to the team, which allows us to have depth. Many underclassmen were able to get experience last year, so even though we are young, we have seen plenty of game time. Our team speed should help us create big plays on both sides of the ball and create more balance in our offense."
Concerns: "Turnovers and botched snaps killed many of our drives last year. These often turned into easy points for our opponents. Our focus has been on ball security and the ability to maintain drives. Tackling on defense was a concern from last year. We have worked to improve our tackling skills and become more aggressive defensively."
Overall Outlook: "We look to be competitive in every game we play. We know that bouncing back after an 0-10 season is tough, but the kids have been working hard throughout the year to improve. We have a solid group of lettermen returning, and newcomers that can contribute immediately. The team truly believes that if they keep working, and stay motivated, they can be competitive in the ICC."
Team Goals: "Improve our plus/minus turnover margin, achieve more balance in our offense and end the season with a winning record."
