LOUISE A. (HINEY) HOLSINGER

Louise A. (Hiney) Holsinger, 91, of Roaring Spring, died Tuesday morning, Aug. 13, 2019, at The Village at Morrisons Cove, Martinsburg.

A memorial service was held Saturday, Aug. 17,at First Church of the Brethren, Roaring Spring. The Rev. Kevin Locker and Pastor Linda Banaszak officiated.

Inurnment was made in Greenlawn Cemetery, Roaring Spring.

Louise was born May 25, 1928, in Roaring Spring, the daughter of the late Charles and Ruth (Sell) Hiney.

She married Paul I. Holsinger Aug. 18, 1948, in Roaring Spring. He preceded her in death Aug. 10, 2016.

Louise is survived by three sons: Timothy C. Holsinger of Bluffton, S.C., Thomas M. Holsinger and wife Joyce of Roaring Spring and Cristopher P. Holsinger and wife Christina of Roaring Spring; a daughter, Linda G. Ambrosini and husband John of Duncansville; four grandchildren: Michael, Tyson (Erin), Stephen and Emily; and two very special nieces, Joanna Ball and husband Charlie of Roaring Spring and Cindy Dick of East Freedom.

She was preceded in death by her brother, C. Matthew Hiney and his wife Catherine.

Louise was a graduate of Roaring Spring High School.

She had previously been employed at the office of Dr. Ramon C. Burket, Roaring Spring, for several years.

Louise was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Roaring Spring.

She enjoyed knitting, jigsaw puzzles, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Louise's memory may be given to Trinity United Methodist Church or The Village at Morrisons Cove.
