JAMES L. MUSSELMAN SR.

James L. Musselman Sr. 60, of Claysburg, died Saturday afternoon, Aug. 17, 2019, at The Village at Morrisons Cove, Martinsburg, following a short battle with cancer.

At the request of the deceased there will be no viewing or services.

James was born March 9, 1959, in Claysburg, the son of the late Kenneth and Idabelle (Teeter) Musselman.

He is survived by five sons; James L. Musselman Jr. and wife Shaina and Ryan C. Musselman and wife Stefanie, all of Roaring Spring, children of James and Brenda (Imler) Albright; and Jacob Musselman, Tylor Musselman and Brandon Musselman, all of Hyndman, children of James and Patricia Cornman; seven grandchildren: Nathan, Maddie, Keely, Gage, Jaxon, Maddox and Carter; three brothers: Kenneth Musselman Jr. of Claysburg, David Musselman and wife Denise of New Paris and George Musselman and wife Carol of Claysburg; and a sister, Vickie Heck of Columbus, Ga.

James was preceded in death by a sister, Penny Lesher, and his long-time companion, Shirley Conner.

James had been employed in property maintenance for Butch Metzger Apartments in Claysburg.

He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, NASCAR, Pittsburgh Steeler football and shooting pool.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in James' memory may be given to the Friendship Volunteer Fire Dept. No. 1 Inc., 808 E. Main St., Roaring Spring, PA 16673.
