Nason Auxiliary awarded one $500 scholarship to a local 2019 high school senior who was interested in pursuing a career in a healthcare field. Students from six area school districts were eligible to apply: Claysburg-Kimmel, Hollidaysburg, Northern Bedford, Spring Cove, Tussey Mountain and Williamsburg. Students were asked to submit an essay that explained why they were interested in pursuing a career in health care sciences.
The scholarship winner was Tori Ramsey (center), a 2019 graduate of Tussey Mountain High School. Tori will be pursuing a degree in occupational therapy from St. Francis University.
