Letter: The FBI Always Prevails

To the Editor:

A very nice article about [Robert S.] Mueller (Morrisons Cove Herald, Aug. 8, 2019, Page A-4). As director, [Mueller] came in at a time when our nation encountered devastation and tragedy with 911 as well as domestic and international terrorism. Mueller was able to make the necessary changes in the FBI to address terrorism to make our country safer.

I worked as a FBI agent for Mueller during his tenure as FBI director. He was well respected, with his integrity never questioned.

My career with the FBI – which spans almost 40 years – has encountered ups and downs but the FBI always prevails. I have been associated with the FBI since 1977 and am honored to serve my country.
