RS Library Marks 50 Years

The Roaring Spring Community Library–repainted, recarpeted, redecorated–dazzled Saturday, Aug. 8, for its grand opening. The occasion marked the 50th anniversary of the free, public library’s founding in the community. It also marked the conclusion of many months of cleaning and restoration following January’s internal “disaster” when pipes froze and burst, damaging wall coverings, carpet and some equipment.
